VoiceInk - One Month Review

I've been using my DIY version of Typeless, which I named VoiceInk (Voice Ink), for a month now. Here's my review.

Cost: .58 USD Speaking duration: Nearly 19 hours Voice-to-text conversions: 3,783 times Total words converted: 201,500 characters Average words per conversion: 201,500/3,783 = 53

Assuming typing speed of 53 characters per minute, 3,783/60 = 63.05 That would take <span className=text-rose-500>63 hours</span> of typing!!!! But my actual speaking time was only about 19 hours!! 63/19 = 3.3157 times the difference!

63 - 19 = 44

6.58/44 = 0.1495

In other words, <span className=text-sky-500>the 44 hours I saved cost me only bash.1495 per hour on average</span>.

With the extra time, I can do more things - like researching new plugins, optimizing workflows, validating ideas, or occasionally petting my cat.

Not to mention, Typeless annual subscription averages 2 per month! Meanwhile

With this DIY version, as a heavy user, my usage costs about half of theirs, plus it comes with complete tracking of voice duration, voice-to-text count, total characters converted, and other detailed info. More importantly, you can customize the AI optimization prompts yourself!!
